A point of order, please
At first public sentiment was for the Iraq War and Occupation; now it has soured on the endeavor. When public sentiment was for the war, the public got war. Now that public sentiment has soured, the public gets war too.
It is strange how that works. Well, maybe, not so strange.

In 2001, a handful of madmen commandeered four jets. Despite being out numbered (20:1?) by passengers, they flew these planes to their deaths.
Now we find ourselves in a government and a war commandeered by a madman. Despite being out numbered by the citizenry (and even the congress) he continues to fly the ship of state to it's death.
Which is the coup: the one who declares supreme, unary power above all other branches of government, wielding it unchecked, or those who take back their Constitution and Rule of Law?
