The three c's

I always carry around a confusing set of philosophical beliefs. This is the current list: Epicureanism, Humean skepticism, Marxism, pragmatism, postmodernism, and a romantic attachment to Enlightenment ideals.

My beliefs always collide, conflict, and beg for consistency. I would not mind but it makes writing about anything very difficult.

it would also seem that the search for consistency in light of conflict keeps things interesting. if life were ultimately consistent, think of how much less brainpower you'd use, and how the mind would deteriorate from lack of use.

i dare say that conflict determines humanity.

The search for consistency does keep life interesting. Sometimes we avoid nasty surprises when events don't go as planned.
