Dawdler

I acquired the Everyman’s Library collection of George Orwell’s essays. The selection runs to 1363 pages. I have opened it at random several times and each time found something delightful to dawdle over.

That’s perfect for me, a consummate dawdler.

He's still the best. Sometimes what he says seems very dated now, but the way that he says it is gorgeous. Have you read Chris Hitchins book on him?

Watch out for Aresenal tonight, one nill up, in Spain. I am sure Orwell would be supporting them too....

beatroot,

I agree with you on Orwell. I'd forgotten how well he could write. I plan on reading Hitchens book soon,

I'll definitely be watching Arsenal. I figure they are a lock to make the final with that 1 nil lead.
