Hello again. Glad to get your note and hear that your spirit has been dancing, if even just a little. Keep your dancing shoes polished and ready.
I too have been writing a lot, but mostly personal journal stuff. It goes like that sometime doesn't it? I am having fun posting the quotes each day though. It is an easy way to keep my blog current while devoting most of my time to my other writing.
The Dickinson poem you sent me is so powerful and beautiful. Thank you once again for sharing another gem with me. How perfectly she describes the "hour of lead" and the sweet release in the "letting go". Ah, poems are...."fires for the cold, ropes let down to the lost, something as necessary as bread in the pockets of the hungry."Mary Oliver
Even though we have had cold frosty mornings, our days here have warmed up enough each afternoon that we have managed to get out on our bikes for a ride or two. Last week we went past the 1000k mark. Absoltuely amazing to think that we have pedalled over 1000k's since mid July.
Well, I must run now. Sending you warm sunny wishes for the rest of the day.

The headline in our Toronto newspaper today read
"Exit, a dove among the hawks." More's the pity indeed.
