Time to Vote for Senator Kerry

It is election time. It is time to vote for Senator Kerry. Senator Kerry will return America to its original values, the values that made America great.

A Stronger America
Broad Prosperity
A Better Future
Effective Government
Shared Responsibility

Senator Kerry is an honest man who we can trust. He believes in America’s most cherished values. He is a true patriot who will restore America’s leadership and standing in the world.

I am a Canadian, but I heartily second that motion and hope that Kerry is voted in. Don't just sit there! Get out and VOTE!!!!!

Hi Again
Nice to hear back from you. I am pulling with you and for you to get a Kerry win, and am sending every positive hope and prayer and thought your way for just such an end to this election. Can't hurt and it just might help.

If people would just get out and vote it would make all the difference! It is the same here in Canada though, the turn-out at the polls is awful. I did hear on a radio program that in some places in the States you sometimes have to line up for an hour or more to get into the polling station and it takes an average of 6 minutes to mark your ballot. Is that correct? I have worked in the returning office and in the polling stations in many Canadian Elections, and it takes less than 5 or 10 minutes to get into the poll, mark your ballot and be on your way. I can't imagine waiting an hour to get into the poll and then having such a complcated ballot that it takes 6 minutes to mark everything on it. There has got to be a simpler way!!!

On another note completely, I am so enjoying "All of Us". I finished it, and am now heading back in for my second reading of "A New Path to the Waterfall". Oh such powerful poetry. I read Tess's introduction after I read the poems the first time, so now I want to go back and read them again knowing all of the background.

I went to the Library today to get a Machado book and they don't have ONE!!! Can you believe that? They are bringing one in for me from the National Library in Ottawa though. That is one great thing about our library system, if they don't have a book in one system they will go across the land to find it in another system and bring it in for you. Yahoo.
I also tried to get "A book of Luminous Things", but can't find that title. I thought I would check with you that this is the right title.

Look forward to talking to you again soon and celebrating a Kerry win with you on Tuesday night.

Good Morning Lynn
Thanks for the detailed response to all my questions. Your voting system does seem rather disjointed and chaotic in some places. I sure hope it all comes together on Tuesday and runs smoothly at this critical time in your country. We are such close neighbours and what happens to you is felt by all of us. Please God, let Kerry win this one!

I will head back to the library this week to do another search for A Book of Luminous Things.

Look forward to talking to you again soon.

Here we go! What a ride this is going to be.

I am sending all my positive thoughts, hopes, wishes, prayers and whatever else might help, along to you today. Hope everything went smoothly at your polling station when you went in to vote, and that it is that way for everyone across your great nation when they make an effort to get out to cast their ballots today.
