Westerns

I watched The Outlaw Josey Wales this weekend. It's one of the three movies I've seen the most. The other two are The Wild Bunch and Lawrence of Arabia. I've lost count as to how many times I have seen them. Dozens for each.

The Outlaw Josey Wales and The Wild Bunch are westerns. Lawrence of Arabia is a sort of western too. You have the adventurer, T. E. Lawrence, fighting with the Bedouin tribes in a rough and violent land.

That reminds of another a book I have to reread: Son of the Morningstar by Evan S. Connell. The prose is to die for.
