On those prices I would says Italy are a good bet. I think they are second favs behind Brazil. England should not be third I am afraid. Although, if Rooney gets fit enough to take part in the knockout stages, then maybe...

My three picks to go all the way are Brazil, England, or Germany (because of home country advantage).
germany's defense looks dodgy. Even germans are saying that germany's defense looks dodgy. Quatre finals is what they are predicting on german TV.
But germans always do well in the world cup. They get better and better as the torni goes on. The team is more than the sum of its parts...or something.

I wouldn't rank Germany's chances so high if they weren't playing in their home country.
I promise to support Poland as my third team. I have friends down in Costa Rica, so I will have to keep that quiet when they meet in their group.
Poland and England are in separate groups so you don't have to alienate any of your friends at the beginning. :)
