A Summer Place

I have been listening to A Summer Place performed by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra on beethoven.com. I must have been about 11 or 12 years old when it was popular. Back then, for some odd reason, I thought the song played in the background when you fell in love. Several years later, I felt Help Me, Rhonda by the Beach Boys was more apt.

Promontory from The Last of the Mohicans performed by the Royal Scottish Orchestra matches my idea of love now that I am old. The cloudless summer sky and danger lurking in the shadows make me feel that way.
